Paramo Men's Katmai Shirt NEW 2011 Model A surprise new addition, well for us at least, to the Spring 2011 Paramo range is the New Katmai Shirt, I have to say new as there is still the old Katmai out there, maybe they could buy a new name book down at Paramo! Anyway we think it is a huge improvement on the old model have more stretch and less shine to the fabric. The new fabric is textured inside and out with the outer surface having a woven look to it and the inner having a square dimpled effect, this aids wicking and drying and makes the new fabric very comfy indeed. The extra stretch is appreciated and the dullness of the fabric is better for wildlife, photography and bushcraft as it is less reflective and not as slippy, the fit appears a little on the big side so you may consider a size down from your normal fitting, a medium measures 46" when laid flat across the chest under the arms. Keeping you cool and protected in the sun, this new stretchy fabric feels really comfortable next to skin, wicking perspiration away without leaving you feeling clammy, making it great for warm weather travel and cooler conditions too. This fabric offers 50+ SPF equivalent protection, blocking virtually all harmful UV rays. This is a shirt for striding on the Lakeland fells in the sunshine as well as exploring the hotter regions of the globe. Technical Information Full collar and long sleeves for protection Secure pocketing for travel essentials - with hidden passport sized pocket within chest pocket Fabric stretch gives extra comfort and ease of movement Smart enough for more formal occasions Great for warm weather travel and cooler conditions too Practical colours for travel and nature-watching Quick to wash and really rapid to dry.
