After two harsh winters it was great to find a product that we can all use in the hills when the winter brings snow and ice, introducing the Hillsound Trail Crampon Microspikes. Utilizing an ergonomic plate system, this trail crampon provides excellent traction and less muscular fatigue for any winter wilderness pursuits.
The Hillsound Trail Crampon is designed for use on all outdoor footwear in the winter hills on non technical routes i.e. those paths that we would normally find techniacally easy in warmer weather. They allow the user to venture out onto those same paths when the snow and ice hits and traction is lost. The spikes are the perfect length and position it fit your walking boots securely and allow you to carry on when otherwise it would be difficult to stay upright and thanks to there easy fit you can take them on and off quickly as the conditions dictate. SPIKE PLATE SYSTEM Strategic placement of the spikes ensure equal distribution of weight, resulting in less muscular fatigue and providing lasting comfort for extended winter wilderness pursuits. WELDED CHAINS The integral parts of the flex-chain are welded to prevent chain links from pulling apart on rough terrain. HARNESS SYSTEM The durable elastic harness ensures a tight hold on your shoe; even at temperatures below -60° C it will not lose its elasticity. The double chain assures an extra-strong connection between the elastic harness and spike plate. Although Trail Crampons will work superbly on snow and ice as a traction device, they cannot prevent all slips and falls. Please exercise caution when using Trail Crampons. Failure to do so may result in injury. Extended exposure to moisture and salt may rust some parts of the crampon. Please rinse and dry before putting away some WD40 probably would not go amiss.
