The lightweight Petzl Tikka Plus 2 headlamp pulls together 5 lighting modes to ensure you can see and be seen during nighttime adventures of all flavours.

The torch is hinged allowing you to tilt the beam and the headband is elasticated and can be adjusted to fit any head size. Around camp i find that hanging the torch around my neck and using the angle facility allows me to see without dazzling others in the powerful beam.

The Petzl Tikka Plus 2 is the first Petzl headtorch to have 2 different coloured LED's. The main beam comes from a very powerful single white LED that kicks out 50 lumens of light couple this to a unique Petzl lens system and the Tikka Plus 2 which should be good for 40 metres. This LED also has 3 lighting modes to save power or for close 'around camp' use. The second LED is a smaller red one that can provide spare lighting for safety and economy or be used to preserve night vision, fortunately thanks to some clever thinking you do not have to cycle through the white LED to get to the red one, thus, ruining your night vision, instead just press and hold the main button and it will switch over to red, the button will now turn off the red led until you press and hold a further time to switch back to white.
