Stainless steel tweezers to efficiently remove ticks without leaving the head buried under the skin.

The tick buries under the skin in a clockwise motion so for removal you need to gently pull the tick out whilst rotating the tweezers carefully counter clockwise. Never try and burn the tick or bath in alcohol as this shocks the tick causing it to empty its digestive tract into your bllodstream and since they carry many deseases as well as Lymes this is a bad idea. Covering the tick with some margarine or vaseline for ten minutes will often casue the tick to detach due to suffocation, then remove as above. It can be a good idea to keep the tick in a jar of alcohol noting the where and when the tick attached itself just in case of later symptons.
