Cotton Carrier Camera System Vest For Regular Cameras

The Cotton Carrier Camera System consists of a Vest Unit and removable Side Holster that allows you to keep a second camera on your Vest Unit, or remove and place independently on your pant belt or the waist strap of your favourite camera bag.


This system comes complete with a comfortable and durable, one-size-fits-all adjustable Camera Vest made of 1680 Denier Polypropylene material fitted with a Lexan camera receptacle.

The removable Side Holster is also made of durable 1680 Denier Polypropylene fitted with a Lexan camera receptacle.

The system additionally contains two (2) Camera Tethers and two (2) Regular Camera Hubs that comprise an anodized aluminum hub, a stainless steel marine grade bolt, and a high-density rubber washer.

The complete system has you ready to be up and running with one or two cameras immediately, and puts an end to irritating neck strain and fatigue created by traditional camera neck straps.

* The Cotton Carrier Camera System involves moving parts that must be maintained periodically. Install and, using the included Tightening Tool, tighten the Camera Hub as TIGHTLY AS POSSIBLE, as this is what keeps your camera securely attached to your Cotton Carrier. Check it until you are satisfied it is not loosening through the turning action of the camera.
* As well as confirming the condition of both the Camera Hub and Camera Receptacle for any signs of wear or damage, keep both the Lexan Camera Receptacle and Camera Hub clean and free of any grit and debris, and clean it regularly as you would with any camera component.


IMPORTANT: Along with using an Allen Key and screw driver to secure your RRS Quick Release Clamp to the Cotton Carrier Hub, we strongly recommend you use a thread locker, such as LocTiteÆ 425 ONLY, as this is a fast curing, low strength adhesive for locking metal and plastics fasteners. If you have any spillage, it is advised to use an Acetone cleaner for any excess.

Although it should not be required with sufficient tightening of the camera hub that causes compression of the rubber washer, you may wish to use an added measure of security to keeping your camera hub on by using a NON-PERMANENT, PLASTIC SAFE Thread Locker (e.g. LocTite 425).

Other LocTiteÆ or similar products may not be suitable for use, and are not recommended.
