Scarpa Ranger 2 GTX Activ Lady

The all NEW Scarpa Ranger 2 GTX Activ Lady is our most popular hill-walking boot and is reborn with the new BD Last, memory foam footbed and new Auto-fit foam inserts in the heel area, which are designed to give 'perfect foot hold'. Coupled to that is a new top quality full grain leather upper with re-worked ankle cuff especially for ladies with even greater softness and instant comfort, this is a proper ladies boot not a re-worked gents version. The new Ranger Activ has a full Gore-Tex liner to keep you feet nice and dry all day long.

The other key to the changes in the Scarpa Ranger GTX  is Scarpa's Activ Fit project. It is all about 'instant comfort' thanks to an all-round overhaul of the Ranger. That means changes to the lasting – boot shape and volume – sole, ergonomic design and a new sock liner.

The women's Activ Fit last gives better toe spring, more toe room, 'perfect heel hold' and something called 'Ball Girth'. All you really need to know though, is that the boots should be a better, more efficient shape.

There are new  footbeds using memory foam for better cushioning and a moulded insulating layer and, like the lasts, they're specific to men and women. 

Plus underfoot, there's a new Biometric Vibram outsole which is designed to give better stability, foot roll and grip with an anatomical design.
