John Clifton reviews the new Leki Photo System Walking Poles which have recently been added to our range.  They take the useability to a new level from a photographic point of view, whilst also enhancing the walking pole capabilities.  John offers an additional suggestion for making them even more practical for those using heavier camera equipment, and those who use L-brackets or quick release plates on their gear.  He suggests that these new poles offer a real alternative to more expensive high spec monopods offered by camera manufacturers - which lack the overall sterngth and design to be used as serious walking poles.
