The 3rd Annual Pickering Walking Festival will take place on Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd April 2012. Trailblazer Outdoors very own Andy Armstrong will be leading a walk on Sunday which will give people the chance to see the tracks, trails and sign left behind by the animals that live in the Cropton Forest area.

This walk is the first of its kind for the walking festival and should prove to be a very rewarding experience for al thouse people wanting to learn a bit more about the animals that live in Cropton Forest.

Walk No. 10

8 mile circular - WILDLIFE WALK - Cropton Forest.  Tracking and Trailing.
The walk will all be in plantation woodland on defined footpaths, but will have fine views over moorland and down Newtondale.  Cropton Forest is teeming with wildlife.  This will be a great forest experience with the leader pointing out tracks, trails and signs to help you interpret these on your future walks.
Meet minibus at Tourist Information Centre, Pickering 9.30am.
(Depart Cropton by minibus at 4.30pm)
