The Scottish Highlands are one of our greatest outdoor assets, with tonnes of variation and environments to explore. We are very lucky in the North York Moors with the scenery and diversity of walking location, but the highlands can feel like the go on for ever! The West Coast is one such great area, and I was lucky enough to holiday there last May.
It’s a serious environment and demands good skills and kit, certainly if you intend to bag a few Munro. Therefore the Paramo jackets, trousers and base layers came out, as did the Zamberlan mountain boots. The Leki poles were invaluable too!
Here is the first travel film form the trip, hope you enjoy!
